’I've been speaking to my good friend Jamal Edwards for some time about finding an interesting way to collaborate. For those who don’t know, Jamal runs a successful and innovative YouTube channel called SB.TV. They curate and feature up-and-coming British music talent. In the last few months we’d both taken notice of Skinny Living, a 4 piece band from Wakefield, England. They had posted a couple of really cool one take acoustic iphone videos up on Facebook. Jamal and I decided we’d both love to work with Skinny Living and have them perform their song “The Journey” in different ways on our respective channels. On our channel Skinny Living would perform a stripped down acoustic version whilst on SB.TV they would collaborate with spoken word artist George the Poet.
As you might have realised the shed, though lovely, is not very big. This is the first time we’ve attempted to have 4 people in the shed at once, but Ryan, Will, Danny, and Rhys, were very game and managed to make it a cosy fit.
